The Life Sciences Research Center at Loyola Degree College is a hub of scientific inquiry and innovation, dedicated to advancing knowledge in biology, biotechnology, and allied fields. With modern infrastructure, advanced instruments, and expert faculty guidance, the center provides students and researchers with opportunities to explore the complexities of life, health, and the environment.
The research center is equipped with:
• 50+ compound microscopes and 4 advanced optical microscopes for detailed cellular and molecular studies.
• Incubators, laminar airflow units, and centrifuges for microbial, cell culture, and molecular biology experiments.
• UV spectrophotometer, SDS-PAGE system, electronic balances, and microtome to support molecular diagnostics, protein studies, and advanced biological research.
